WATER RETROFIT/OTHER INFORMATION
Each of the three water districts has the same water retrofit requirements, and each water district has its own water certification form. Please be sure to use the proper form.

Every property (residential or commercial) in Monterey County that changes ownership is subject to the water retrofit requirements and a retrofit certification form must be completed and submitted to the proper water agency. If the property is in the unincorporated county (not within city limits) and you are unsure of which water district has jurisdiction, check the MPWMD Map , or contact the MPWMD at 649-2500 with the parcel number.

Carmel Properties Recorded With a Resolution Designating An Historic Resource

The City of Carmel-by-the-Sea has recorded a Resolution Designating An Historic Resource on approximately 220 properties in the City.  Certain restrictions and regulations governing remodels, alterations, additions and demolitions will apply.  For information on a specific property it is highly recommended that the property owner contact the City of Carmel-by-the-Sea and schedule an appointment with Brian Roseth, Chief Planner or Sean Conroy, Senior Planner at 831/620-2010, to address all questions and concerns regarding the property.

Please be advised that additional properties will be added to this list at the discretion of the Carmel City Council.
